Pattaya GoGo BarsPattaya has the largest number of gogo bars of any city in Thailand and each year millions of tourists catch a flight to Bangkok and travel there to experience this uniquely Thai entertainment.
To find the biggest group of Pattaya gogos head to Walking Street in South Pattaya near the beach anytime after 5pm. In this small area you'll find a dazzling array of huge neon signs flashing the names of the many gogo bars you have to choose from. Teams of girls line the streets and compete noisily to entice the tourists into their particular establishment adding to the party atmosphere. All are free to enter and charge around 90 to 120 baht a beer but remember to budget for a few lady-drinks as well.
The following list does not show all of the gogos in Pattaya but it does include most of those that have their own websites and there should be plenty of content to give first time visitors to Pattaya a taste of what to expect.

Pattaya Beer BarsThere are well over 1000 (some say 2000 !) beer bars in Pattaya. The Thai style beer bar is a small open air affair usually staffed by around 5 or 6 hostesses who will do everything they can to attract the potential customer to their establishment.
Frequently, the bars are found tightly packed together each with their own music at full volume. This creates a rowdy party atmosphere that many find entertaining but others find to be auditory torture. For these individuals (and I am one) there are, thankfully, many smaller bar areas throughout the city where conversation with friends or the welcoming staff can be had in relative peace and with so many establishments available there is sure to be somewhere to suit everyone.
Though they can be found scattered just about everywhere throughout Pattaya and Jomtien, the main areas are between Walking Street all the way down Pattaya Beach and Second Road (including the connecting streets called Sois) ending in a very large cluster near Soi No 2. A little bit further on, and sometimes overlooked, is another huge group in Naklua.
Beer bars are usually small businesses of a type that are not likely to gain a lot of business from advertising on the web. For that reason most of the websites are fairly simple affairs often made by the staff themselves. However, some of these are worthy efforts that at least give those new to Thailand or Pattaya some idea of what to expect.
Pattaya plays host to people from all over the world and many bars direct themselves at a particular nationality so there are websites in a variety of languages. Most of the sites listed below are in english but if not, the language is noted in the comments.
